For nearly 20 years, Joey Blanchard has been a custom home and pool builder based in the Baton Rouge area. With a detailed, hands-on approach, he has built an amazing portfolio with projects ranging from $40,000 to $1.5 million. Joey’s unique perspective on construction can be traced back to his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and is still evident across every completed project. From energy-efficient alternatives to home automation tools and fortified construction materials, Renaissance’s homes and pools are built with purpose.

Joey’s passion for residential construction stems back to his childhood and followed him throughout his college experience at LSU. What started as a side hobby in woodworking and small remodels slowly evolved into bigger projects during the weekends and after work. In 2005, Joey became a licensed general contractor and Renaissance Homes and Pools was created.

Since receiving his license, Joey has completed projects across Baton Rouge including work in University Club, Greystone Country Club, Santa Maria and Greentrails.
